James Marster's talk at FanExpo 2010, part 1...

On Saturday afternoon, James Marsters appeared at FanExpo 2010 in Toronto, at the Convention Centre. The room was packed full and the panel started early - it's the first con I've been to where things often started five to ten minutes before the scheduled time.

"Playing heroes sucks," said Marsters. "If you're a hero, you have to run a lot... When you're a villain, you just lurk. Bad guys have more fun."

I think he's got that one right... :)

Seems to me that Captain John was pretty active! But I liked the comment.

Yeah, well, there was a bit of running around, but all in all, I've always had this image of John Hart as a very sedate villain...

"Sedate" isn't the word I'd use first, but you're right, he didn't run around much... unless chased.

Yeah, well, you know what I mean. He can have a gun (or three) pointed at him and he doesn't even bat an eyelid. He won't run around unless he has to. Things like that. Maybe "sedate" is not the word, but... you get the idea.
