Sunday...
Last night I had dinner with gamergrrl at the Sacred Garden (Thai Vegetarian food) on Bank Street near Riverdale. It was lovely, and I think she liked the place as much as I do.
Then we came back to my place and played scrabble and she trounced me. Twice.
Today, I went for brunch with lunacy_gal and explodedtabag at Farb's, at 18 Beechwood. I love this tradition of birthday meals! It was amazing food - I even took pictures of the food, but due to my current state of technical capacity, can't post them. Delicious, too, and they have creme brulee on the dessert menu. I must go back.
After we finished eating, we descended on Books on Beechwood like hungry locusts and... bought books. That thing we do so well.
Then in the aftrnoon I went up to explodedtabag's apartment and she taught me to play Champions. Which means I designed two sueprheroess: Shima and Nicolls, who are swordbearing acolytes of the Order of the Crimson Blade. Fun! I am all thumbs when it comes to actually making a character do anything in the game, so explodedtabag kindly earned Nicolls game points on my behalf.

We also watched some Supernatural - 2x13, "Houses of the Holy". I like the way it sets up the contrast between Sam and Dean - Sam having faith and a belief in angels, Dean not, not knowing their attitudes will each reverse for good resaons.
