explodedteabag invited me, maaseru and lunacy_gal over to watch Supernatural today. lunacy_gal seemed to enjoy it, and to appreciate the slashiness, and she borrowed some of explodedteabag's DVDs for some happy catch-up watching. We showed her:

I always thought it was referencing the phrase "the downward spiral".
