Beckford's Tower, Bath...
Doesn't everyone fantasize about living in palaces and castles?
This is not that. It is even better. I am living in Beckford's Tower in - or rather, above - Bath. Decorated in Regency style, but with all the mod cons - except net access. Funny how William Beckford in 1822 didn't think to have that included in his splendours. (I am writing this where we are having lunch at the Ship Inn in Newnham. Moussaka with chips.)
Just saw Chepstow Castle.
We're off to Berkeley Castle now, having just been through the charming village of Blakeney. They seek him here, they seek him there...
And I am almost halfway through season 5 of Buffy now.
And tomorrow I fly home.
