It's back!
Good News Week is back after nearly eight years!
http://ten.com.au/ten/tv_gnw.html Seriously!
The most hilarious segment is also easily found on Youtube.

I laughed so much at this one, it was awesome! Well worth a look, even if you're not that into Supernatural.
(Also, the guy who 'storms off' complaining about cross-promotion is from a similar-ish show from GNW's original channel, doing an effective bit of cross-promotion himself)
It looks like this is the 'updated' version of "Who wants to come down the front and sit in a chair!" -- Now titled "Are you dumber than a 5th grader?" and about incorrect quiz answers. The GNW 'contestant' is given a question and three spectacularly stupid answers, and must pick the answer the original contestant thought was right. An example from the clip: "What was Ghandi's first name? A, Andy. B, Jim. C, Goosey Goosey." 'Correct' answer: C, Goosey Goosey Ghandi.
Other familiar segments were "So you think you can mime" (basically a retitled "Bad street theatre", contestant is given an odd news item to mime, and team-mates must guess the story) and "Strange but true", the one with the props.
No sign of "Buzzers of Death", unfortunately, and I doubt it will return. A shame, that was one of my favourites. If you 'cross the streams', things go boom! Flacco and the Sandman were also absent, I haven't decided how I feel about this one yet. On the one hand, they've been a part of some of my favourite moments, but on the other, there's only so much you can fit into 45 minutes. (An hour, with ads)
I really hope Julie McCrossin returns as a regular guest, opposing Mikey Robins, of course! I missed her quite quickly. She had a certain chemistry with the guys, an entertaining rivalry. Unfortunately Clare Hooper isn't quite as comfortable with everyone yet, but I'm trying to remain optimistic. But I'd still love to see Julie as a guest at all, as well as anyone from even vaguely similar shows. (Glasshouse, Chaser, BackBerner, etc)
Schedule info for my fellow Australian viewers: Channel 10, 8:30pm, Monday.
