The Vampire Diaries
I don't know why my sudden craze with vampires nowadays. But then, they're everywhere. I had watched almost all the vampire series ever shown since 2000. Buffy the Vampire Slayers, Angel, Moonlight, True Blood and the latest one, The Vampire Diaries. I've never read the book, so I'm looking at it with an open mind.
First episode aired a few days ago. Nothing particularly special but it IS just the first episode, give it time. To me, what determines whether I'm sticking with a show is the chemistry between the characters. And I really do like the casting for this show. The innocent looking Elena, the dark and brooding Stefan and ....creepy but hot Damon. BTW, don't Stephan looks a bit like Angel? So cute :P
PS: I just saw this kickass vampire movie today, Dracula 2000 with Gerard Butler. Simply awesome :)
