Wisdom teeth... Gyaah!
Friday. 1pm. A dentist appointment to take care of a problem wisdom tooth.
I'd already had one removed, fairly easily, way back in January. But I knew that this one would be harder.
It was.
The rotten thing (and I think I mean that literally, although the only chance I got to look at it, it was covered in blood, and I really don't like the sight of blood, so I'm not sure) took forever to be removed.
Well, it seemed like forever. There was a lot more blood than last time, too.
I'm the first to admit that I haven't taken good care of my teeth. Hell, I had a coke (yes, the drink) addiction until last December. (I've never made a new year's resolution, and I sure as hell didn't want to start with that)
But, I digress. The point of this rant, five and a half days after the extraction?
IT STILL HURTS!
Oh god how it hurts. The entire right side of my face, the side the tooth was on, is in agony. My chin just under the gum, particularly when I swallow. My right ear. Even my right temple is throbbing unrelentingly.
I can't sleep. I can't think. I just can't.
GYAAH!
And the worst part is, I don't have anywhere but here to vent.
