(no subject)
Holy crap, how long has it been since I've updated this thing? Well according to LJ, my last entry was in December of 2009. Yes, folks, 2009.
Now, I haven't been completely M.I.A. from LJ, this is actually my secondary journal on this site and specifically for any drabbles and stories I come up with. I've been updating my other one fairly regularly, but alas, have overlooked this one yet again. It doesn't help that my muse seems to have moved elsewhere and refuses to return anytime soon, even with the promise of treats and having a "Buffy" marathon.
I guess I've gotten to a point where I'm really over-thinking and over-planning the stories I've been coming up with, specifically the fanfic-based ones. I'm one of those readers who hates reading a story that's just so good but is only a few chapters and without any chance of a sequel. On the other hand, I'm also the type of reader who gets irrationally irked by stories that go on and on, with no end in sight and no sign of the original storyline the story had started off with.
Which leads me to now.
For the past several years (seriously, I'm talking since 2004/2005) I've been brainstorming this story with a group of girls at either a boarding school or in a college setting, however in the past year I've decided to tweak the characters with some of my favorite ladies from TV. Somehow this tiny storyline has expanded, in my mind, into a possible full-length online series. I have most of the storylines figured out, it's just a matter of actually getting the words on paper that's been the wrench in my plan.
I'm also writing a Lana Lang and Lois Lane ("Smallville") fanfic. Yes, I paired them together.How did I do it? Well, you'll just have to keep your eyes open for whenever I do release the story on Fanfiction.net (under 'faithx5452' of course).
There are also a few other stories I'm thinking up, one being my first heterosexual pairing (well, correction, the first in a long time) crossing over "Buffy" and "Twilight". No, don't give me that look. And no, it's not who you're assuming it's about, so don't be so quick to judge.
Alright folks, I'm not here to make any promises for when I'll start posting fic but my muse seems to be slowly creeping back so I'm going to do my best to tie it down and utilize it for as long as it'll stay around this time. Keep your eyes open and PLEASE do not let any wanna-be's who claim that my stories are theirs fool you. The only places I post to and allow my stories to be housed are Fanfiction.net, Passion & Perfection and Realm of the Shadow (though I hear that site may have been taken down).
