Think about it
Mike Hodapp 1-16-01
He did it for me
When they nailed him to the Tree
He Died at Calvery
That my soul might be free
For me he took a stand
That I may be free to shout it throughout the land.
I am a sinner and have no worth
For HIS grace I shall testify throughout the Earth
With his grace on my left and Mercy on my right
His Power shall make me beam throughout the night
Keep me steadfast in your way
That from your will I do not stray
The choice is yours, that you must make
With fear and trembling you should quake
From the fires of hell you can walk
Or you can strut your stuff, run your mouth and talk
Let me say, salvation ain't easy
Some of the things I've had to do make me queasy
To stand before a man twice my size
Telling him to drop his knife and quit his lies
It's not bragging, take it as a warning
Words spoken carelessly will cause much morning
Think about it, wait through the night
A fools loose words don't shed much light
If your commitment is real and your words are true
What he did for me he will do for you
For the rhyme or reason I do not know it
God put these words here, I am not a poet
