He is a certain amount of drunk when he moves over to her. Not to the point where his mind is completely gone as well as his lack of good judgment, but just to the point where he's in a very, very good mood. They've had a funny little relationship form over the past months; he's not quite sure how it happened, or why, but ignorance has been a bliss for them.

He catches her when she's alone, hand hooking under her arm as he pulls her to him, and though brief, a kiss is still a kiss.

"Happy New Year."
