After the joint trip and meeting up with Faith while on Orpheus we finally had a location where to find her. We also knew who had her. Spike's long lost creation who happened to be stronger than regular vampires. Great. Of course someone in our family would turn a potential slayer only to have her activated when there was a spell done on the hellmouth. And of course it was that member of our family that grabbed our slayer. She couldn't keep her. I wasn't going to let her.
Spike and I made the drive out to New Mexico. It took us two days of tracking before we finally spotted Sophia. She had gifts in her hands and I figured they must have been Valentine's Day gifts for Faith. We'd just hang back and follow her at a distance so she could lead us back to Faith.
Then we would kill her and get the hell out of here. I wasn't sure if Spike was with me on killing her, but I didn't plan to put it up to a vote. Yeah, the chick was hot and there was a part of me that was drawn to her, but she couldn't keep Faith prisoner.
I was just afraid that maybe Faith wasn't a hostage. Maybe she had finally run so far that she didn't want to be found again. Yet she told us how to find her. It was confusing, but we'd figure it out. We just needed to go through the front door and get her back.
