I'm starving *starves*
Everything is back to normal now, pah. Bri's at work, Sasha's at tech - and I must learn to live alone again. Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
j/k
We started watching
Babylon 5 last night *squee* I used to be an avid fan back in Australia, even though it was on at 1am - I watched! I loved it muchly, and Brian did too. [Now, I know my memory sucks, but for the life of me I can't recall how he watched it. 1am would be too late for him, for sure. He had to be in the city for like, 8am or something. And it was at least an hour in, plus he's a Libra, so he takes more time than your average guy to get ready (the hair *must* be perfect), - so - yeah. Up until 2am? So not gonna happen. So how did he watch it? This is going to bug me ;.;]
Where was I? Right - B5. In the middle of a very exciting plot, we came home here. And, we totally lost where we were. They were either way behind or way in front, I'm not sure - but I remember we thought we'd just wait until we could get the show on video or something. Then, of course, DVD exploded onto the scene - so now for Christmas, B bought me the entire series - which includes all the movies and Crusade :D
Anyway, this is exciting for us. We know how much it rocks, and
nothing-less knows nothing mwhahahahahah
On a side note, as awesome as CGI is, I really don't like it! Granted, B5 was early days and all, but I have concluded, with the total overuse of it by Lucas et al, that it sorta sucks, actually. Give me models any day. Not saying I don't appreciate the ppl slaving over their Macs, but honestly, to my eye, a model is just waaaaaayyyyyyyyy more realistic (so to speak) lol! I love flicking through Brian's ILM books and seeing the whole art of the models et al. It's fascinating. CGI? Not so much.
But yeah, totally loving B5 again :)
I'm also adoring the West Wing, which is what we got mum for Christmas. The entire series *squee* God, I love that show! It was another one I totally lost track of and resigned myself to catching up on this way. It pained me when Ted or someone would squee over the latest ep, and I know I had to wait until the entire series ENDED before I could see it. But, NOW I CAN WATCH - AND AM!! :D
Clearly, entire box set series were a 'thang' this year for us lol!
*Squeeeeeeeee@ hungry emoticon girly! How cute!! /sad
OH! I am JUNG! :D That pleases me muchly, even though it is just a quiz. I'm so easily pleased sometimes, srsly. I'm a sad girl.
OHHHHHHHHH Wil Wheaton has his review of Encounter at Farpoint pt 2 up at TV Squad! :D I must go read. I'm loving his reviews b/c TNG rocked all and he.was.there.
You scored as C.G. Jung. You are more of a spiritualist than would be immediately apparent. Some of your notions are questioned by the cynical, but deep down you know the human consciousness is more than the flesh and tissue can account for. You tend to take a scientific observationist look on matters the average person wouldn't even begin to analyze. You personally are responsible for most of the ideas that are floating around in modern psychologist's/psychic's paltry little skulls. On the down side, you tend to be associated with that asshole Freud.
