3 Days Grace
There is a baby fly hanging around my room and it's bugging the crap out of me! It doesn't seem to understand that I'd like it to leave. I do NOT want to spray b/c spray = x_x to it and also, yours truly can live without the smell/taste of repellent tyvm. But does it go? nooooo. So instead, when it flies by me, I give it the great Australian salute. It's all I'm up for at the moment. Not coz I'm lazy per se, I'm just sick. Yes, I have another feeling of bleaghness that isn't anything specific, naturally. I think I'm just stressed out or something. Our holiday is coming up and there still seems so much for me to do. There probably isn't - I'm probably thinking there's far more to do than there actually IS, but still...gah. Also, my mum's not well and ...and yeah...that's unfun.
On the upside, I got my hair done and am loving it! *flips hair* I'd like a tad more blonde at the front, but...I can get that done next time. They've had me go even darker round the sides and back, which is sweet. My hair is naturally a sort brunette - and yet it seems it's trying to be black. It's like I was born before the genes deigned my hair color done :P Anyway, I'm now this sort of awesome deep chestnut/black/redish (as in auburn) sort of 3 color hue around 3/4's of my hair and, at the top, I remember Sharon [my colorist] saying 'a wave of blonde' but it's more of a trickle ;p - so - anyway, 4 colors all up. I've probably made it sound more complicated than it is, but it rocks. I love it. It's v. trendy.
Our RP rocks socks at the moment *squee* [*gives fly death glare*] ... I actually think it's wicked that something you and your friends write is more fun than say, TV :D
OMG...I just read the words 'Go Kev!' re: that dirtball K-Fed. It seems some whackjob over at Cinematical is a fan. And, boy, didn't my opinion of this guy just nose dive. And honestly, that entire entry is depressing for those of us who wouldn't have minded seeing it. This movie, Night Watch, will have Naomie Harris (Tia Dalma in PotC2&3) and the hotness that is Chris Evans in it. As well as Forest Whitaker and Keanu Reeves. It's written by James Ellroy [L.A. Confidential] too. *whines* Why, why, WHY must they do this to us? Inflict that asshat on us. gah! ;.; Well, hopefully he's shot dead and it can be a deep catharsis for all of us :D /rant
btw...did I rave about Pirates on here? I didn't, did I? I won't say much - just that yes, there are plot holes in it and yes, some payoffs are weak (especially Calypso) and yes, Bloom and Knightly are bland and blander, but what makes up for the plot holes and B&K are just wonderful performances from the the rest of the cast, particularly Naomie, Geoffry Rush and Tom Hollander (Lord Cutler Beckett). The flick also has wonderful cinematography and score (again) and just has a great overall sense of fun! (Ok, it's a little dark, but still fun!) Johnny was great and Keith Richards a treat. Honestly, it's my fave of the 3 and I can't wait to see it again! :D
re: subject heading - I can't recall who on earth 3 Days Grace are...but they're good! LOL Oh..wiki says they're a Canadian alt. rock band. I must've got their songs from Brian who loaned me this mixed rock CD from a friend of his. I think. Coz really, I've got no idea about them :P
I wanted to put a song I really loved on my phone for it's ring - but b/c Brian originally gave the phone to my dad, the cd it came with that has the software on it is....missing ;.; ergo - I can't do it. So Brian was all 'go to the Sony Ericsson site and I'll come in and d/l the software for you' and I was, 'oh, ok' and all pleased. That was like 4 or 5 days ago. He keeps 'forgetting'. *forlorn* Srsly, I don't have a clue about this stuff. pft to him.
Last time Brian dragged me to FPI in Belfast, I decided I'd actually buy stuff this time rather than hang around...oh, btw Sasha, I forgot to say...THERE ARE GRINDHOUSE FIGURES!!!!!!! Sadly, Planet Terror was shipped first (more in store than on the FPI site), but our guys at the store assured me there'll be Death Proof ones also so *squee* Anywho, I forked out for a Grindhouse poster and Sin City (Gail) banner...and neither are up yet. I really need to get around to putting them up. Leaving them beside my wardrobe still rolled up is not doing anything for the aesthetics in my room lol! ...Anyway, there's this girl that works there that is entirely too into Brian and it's pathetically obvious and sort of embarrassing for all. She babbles about anything he is interested in whether she is or not, is totally gushy and just...gah. The worst part is, Brian is soooooooooooo not interested in her, but feels sorry for her, so keeps talking and talking and talking until Ali=coma x_x I'm sooo not going in again unless S is with me to keep me from dying of boredom.
Ok - think I'm done. I've once again done this entry while surfing around and b/c I suck at multi tasking it as once again taken me hours lol! Oh well... I'm off to get tea. Later.
