You should totally watch Aquarion EVOL!! It's a sequel of Sousei no Aquarion but you can watch them separately. The chara-designer of Aquarion EVOL worked on UtaPri, so... just go for it for the bishies XD Nisemonogatari is really good too, but I don't know if you can enjoy it without seeing the prequel Bakemonogatari. I guess you can since the main characters aren't the same.
I've watched EVOL!! Got excited because of the music, I love Yoko Kanno. It's good, okay~ I wanted to watch Nisemonogatari but just like you said, I have to watch Bakemonogatari first or else it'd be weird. I will think about it for now. Have you watch Another?

No I didn't watch Another yet, the synopsis reminds me of Higurashi no naku koro ni somehow, I don't like it :p

lol it depends. I don't like horror when there's too much blood and other morbid details about human corpse. If not, I'm totally fine ^o^
