I Do!
Okay. That last entry was a tad bit hasty.
I am engaged.
Today is my eighteenth birthday and my boyfriend was coming over because he had a surprised planned for today. Well he texts me saying, come outside. I normally meet him at his car and happily open the door and begin walking out. I nearly trip on him. He is outside my front door on one knee in all black a ring in a white velvet bx thingie. I yell "What do you think you are doing!? Get up!" He looks at me and says "For three weeks I've been trying to finger our what to say and all I have is 'Take the damn ring.'" Obviously I drop to my knees and wrap my arms around him and start shaking and almost crying. He laughs and asks if that's a yes. I can't even speak. I just nod and he puts it on my finger... So, I'm engaged to be married!
It is so exciting.
