When she grows serious, Altaïr considers that she might actually have a head on her shoulders, unlike what he has seen with Desmond and his other companions thus far.
Altaïr turns his face away for a moment, silent as he carefully considers his words. ]

[ This, he figured, was safe enough to say. Seeing as it seemed to be common knowledge by everyone else. His eyes settle back on her once more, dark from where they sit beneath his hood, but it is more than clear they are heavy upon her.

I would suppose... if it's possible for you, Ezio, and Desmond to all exist here, it's entirely likely there'd be people from your direct future you yourself may have yet to encounter.

That seems to be a given. Kadar exists here, and yet I am from his future. [ Or rather, lack there of. At this he offers her a grim, pursed-lipped expression, but he shakes it off and recovers rather quickly. He thinks that this is already a problem, given that Maria is convinced she needs to fight him at every opportunity.
Not that he exactly deters her from this. ]
