In Awe
I just finished reading an 84 chapter Severitus fic that was utterly fucking amazing. That's the only way I can explain it, honestly. Holy shit. I am so late on this but this was everything I hope for in a fic. It was hysterical, deep, interesting, and just so addicting. I believe that this fic has gotten me through my first college test and a rough week. It was something to come home to after work and I cuddled up with my laptop on the couch and read. This story chased away all my fears over tests and essays and made things so much easier. It was fantastic and comfortable and I am so grateful that I found it.
Blood Magic
There's slash in this and sorta OC Harry but it's all explained. Snape is so in character but so protective and I loooove it. It was intelligent and made me think, seriously think. It also threw things at me, but in a good way, and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. And the payout at the end? Was so fan-fucking-tastic. I love getting all excited about a fic.
There's no sequel though. The thought is horrible but it was great as a standalone, an epic standalone I might add. I wish the author continued with this, especially because this fic was written pre-HBP and DH, so all the revelations would have made a sequel that was great, if not better, than the first.
