An Aha Moment

I realized sort of why I keep posting randomly like I do and why I write and read here.

Because I could never squee about Supernatural, Harry Potter or anything else on Facebook. My friends and family on there wouldn't care as much as my flist and they would never comment. That's why LJ works. You guys (mostly) like what I like and won't judge. We may disagree on things but who cares? We're friends on here because of our different interests, fandom or not. That's how we know each other, not by pictures or old high school networks.

So, I guess what I'm trying to say is thanks. I can post here that I'm listening to the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix soundtrack and am avoiding doing psych work and for the most part, you don't care. If I posted on Facebook I might be worried over who saw.

Maybe this isn't true for all of you. Some of you might not give a shit who sees your facebook page or Livejournal page. But that just sorta popped into my head and I'd thought I'd share.

Anyone else feel the same?
