Er, yes. I would just like to say that we are Fire & Forget, and we're very sorry...
...but we're going to do it anyway!
Anyway. THANK YOU so much to our valiant fans who turned out and supported us and screamed themselves hoarse to try and win us the audience-reaction-based judging despite there being only about seven of you! We love you! (And we hope everyone who was watching Perish in the Flames had a good time too! *waves to
i_am_marky*)
Furthermore, we are really sorry for the complete lack of lead guitar in Marianne, that was a direct result of the venue telling us we had to turn down when we were setting up. Next time we promise not to listen to a word they say. ;) And yeah, we didn't win, but it was good fun, and I definitely got a grin out of watching us and ours stick out like a black-clad rock in a sea of students; aren't pack dynamics awesome? :)
Now, hope to see a bunch of you at the Man on the Moon on Thursday to see us opening for Awake, without volume limits - and also hopefully without bad cover bands and a man hitting a box with a ukulele...
Cheers,
Rath
PS Definition of a dilemma: being in a barful of normal people at half ten at night and really wanting to get out of there, and then Smackdown coming on the big screen at the far side of the bar. Luckily the sudden appearance of John Cena made the decision an easy one after all... ;)
