I feel SO loved right now.
OH MY GODS. My little sis 'Boots drew me the most AWESOME Christmas picture ever! Look at this!
THIS. Who are all these guys? Weeeelll.....
- At the top of the image, the black scrawl with several claws and paws sticking out of it is a dimensional portal from which are climbing four members of Lordi. The fifth, being Mr Lordi, is standing on the huge bucket-in-wrapping-paper type thing, on the left. The caption at the top that's been clipped a bit reads "...devil is a loser..."
- ...to which the reply of "...Don't I know it" is being made by Ghost Rider-movieverse Blackheart, who is sticking his head through what I'm informed is a portal from Hell.
- Below Blackheart and next to Lordi - and presumably about to get a nasty shock - are James (left), Jesse (right), Meowth (on James's head) and Wobbuffet (behind Jesse) of Pokémon's Team Rocket - there because of a crossover with my in-house version of nineties-run Ghost Rider. (Long story.)
- On the top-right corner of the large bucket-parcel-thing, added purely for my enjoyment because 'Boots doesn't even follow wrestling, are Edge (with his belt, eeee!) and 'Taker! I have a feeling it's all going to go wrong in a moment when Edge turns around. ^_^
- The little dude who's managed to get himself wrapped into the parcel halfway down is the scorpuppy form of lonescorpion. I always wanted a puppy for Christmas!
- Ground-level on the left of the parcel, is Deathwatch (from Ghost Rider comicverse) and three of his ninjas. The "grand piano" "cowbell" and "gong" thing refers to an injoke about ninjas' stealthiness being measured in musical instrument levels (ie seventy-bell ninja is he who can wear seventy bells and still be stealthy, sixty-bell ninja is not quite as good... and... "This cowbell ninja. HE FAIL!")
- Ground-level on the right of the parcel, meanwhile, is Blackout (Ghost Rider comicverse, again, and one of my favourite characters in the whole universe) and, sneaking up on him, Iron Maiden's Eddie. ^_____^
- Digging its way out of the ground right in front of the parcel, is a random deadite of unknown provenance...
- And along the bottom: on the left, we have a fountain containing 'Boots' character Dulcie, a waterlily-fae (left) and Wallow (Ghost Rider-movieverse, right). Watching are Abigor (above) and Gressil (below), also Ghost Rider-movieverse.
- In the middle, Decepticons Cyclonus (left) and Scourge (right), playing cards. Apparently.
- And on the right, Decepticon warlord Galvatron (left, looking rather surprised) being presented with a couple of Quintessons by his Autobot counterpart, Rodimus Prime (and if you don't know why this makes sense in our private world, you probably don't want to ask).
...okay, that's everybody! DUDE. Is that not an awesome present?
Anyway, yes, we just did Triad dinner and presents a few days early, as not all of us will be here on the day. I made out great in the present stakes, coming up with a book on zombies from Koi, a book of supernatural tales from 'Boots (as well as the chibis!), a copy of Hellboy II from Seiber, and a set of silk pyjamas from my mum and dad because nobody else I know could afford to buy me silk pyjamas. I also made a roast dinner of epic proportions, which seemed to go over extremely well.
I'm now sitting in the recliner with a crown made from crimson tinsel, trying to digest dinner while Seiber and Mikki play Bioshock, Koi looks on, and 'Boots and I chat to Pepper on IM. All things considered? I can think of worse fates. ^_____^
