February is here already!
Woke up to beautiful snow today! Not too much, only 2 or 3 inches but it sparkled in the sun. Z was hoping for more but I'm kind of glad we didn't get more.
The paper this morning is full of pictures of cars that were in accidents going home from work yesterday during the snow. There were like 90 accidents.
Good grief.
It's like all these people didn't slow down because after the ice storm just a little snow shouldn't be a problem, right? It is really ridiculous that there were that many. How hard is it to slow down for weather conditions? These are adults who passed a driver's test, right? I know some accidents, no matter how hard you are trying, you can't avoid. But 90 of them. phew.
oh well.
Not much else to say.
Woke up with my back worse than usual - I think because of helping clean up at bridges yesterday. I lifted a couple of large stools and put them upside down on the counter. I know better, just I was there, others were doing it so I did too, without thinking about it.
My back is weird, doesn't usually hurt right away, but by the evening or the next day I know it is an unhappy camper.
sigh.
I hate my back.
I've heard from my dad. He is enjoying the class he is teaching on Isaiah in KC. I'm glad he is calling me. I surely miss him when he is not here at home. He just gets so excited and fired up and alive when he is able to teach. It truly is his calling.
