I think what this anon was trying to point out to you is that no, not all of Shakespeare's plays are written in iambic pentameter. The Brutus speech the anon referenced is a prime example of this. If you know what iambic pentameter is and look at that speech, it is clear that it is not iambic pentameter.
Also, when actors act the plays they do so speak lines written in iambic pentameter in that iambic pentameter. If a line of verse is written in iambic pentameter it is impossible to read it any other way without plasing emphasis where it should not be placed. You can't necessarily hear this in acting because the actors are skilled enough to make it sound natural. Furthermore, iambic pentameter is very close to normal speech patterns in English, so it's not something that's very obvious unless you're listening for it or if someone is making it obvious.
In closing, I'm personally a bit insulted that you chose to take the time to respond to this anonymous's concrit when you don't seem to have given the detailed concrit I gave you both in your app post and in response to this post a second thought. LJ is nothing but a tool for two-way discussion, it's how we run CFUD, isn't it? And if you felt like you wanted it to be a more private discussion, you could have always screened the post. So I would really like to request a response to my previously posted concrit, as I would always strive to do the same if anyone were to ever concrit a character of mine.
