[Filtered to Students: Years 4-6]Oh, and for those of you interested in doing the Extra Credit assignment, You will probably want to look in the Restricted Section of the Library... If you so wish and don't already have one, I can and will give out passes so you can access the books you need ( Read more... )

*hacks some obscure scribblings and something about the library; glad he got his old grimoire out of the Restricted Section before any of Faith's students got their hands on it*

..If anybody requires the Herzkreislaufwiederbelebung fun Hexenwulfen, I have been referring to it, but will not need it further.

[[He took out a whole load of very malevolent Dark books to prevent students from finding them at random. XD I really should revive that plot.]]

... *curious head tilt at journal* ... Aah, If I have any need of it for a class, I shall ask... *thinks* Though likely not, but one never knows...

[[LoL Yah, you should. XD And if nothing else, Faith might just be one to notice the lack of said books. Any plots you may have had, might be due for reviving, if you felt so inclined ^.^ ... Everyone loves a fun plot.]]

It is highly comprehensive, though it deals with lycanthropy in the domestic rather than the medical sense. I was surprised at how... hm... democratic the selection in the Restricted Section turned out to be.

[[Lol, feel free! XD]]

*perks up*
Really? that would be much more useful than all the biased crap they have in the Library! *scowl* Some of that shit is all complete bullshit, or is skewed so far off that it's inaccurate... It's crazy!

... Thankfully at least some of the warding and protective methods are correct enough the students might live if they ran into some of the creatures, but some of the methods behind getting rid of some of the demons? completely off! You need a SILVER blade for a Fyarl demon, not one laced with Mercury! ...

Borrowing that one you have might make it so I don't have to have my friends ship me quite so many books, which they would appreciate. *grin*

Quite true. I suspect that the library hasn't had a good thinning in centuries. *grumbles*

Atrocious. Have you considered adapting your own experience for use as a textbook? It would, I daresay, raise your standing in the academic world as well as providing a much-needed service to wizarding youth.

Well, pop over to my office and help yourself. I will be there after my class to unward the door for you.

*huff* No kidding...

*pauses and thinks about what he just suggested* Ya know, that's actually a good idea... I considered it back after the chaos that was good ol' sunnyhell... But for the life of me, I apparently can't write worth a damn. 'Least that's what that titchy witch down at the company I tried to ask said...I think it's just because I'm writing shit that's true, ya know? ticks 'em off that they been gettin' it wrong for centuries and some little 20-something brat comes along to tell 'em what's what...

*perk* Aah, that would be wonderful! .. Perhaps at a future date I can share some of the texts I've collected with ya? *laugh* they're no light bedtime read, 's for damn sure, but they are useful with the information they have in them...

Use a pen name? *half joking* 'Publius' generally serves. Let them think you're a hundred and three and a former Divinations guru. There is a tendency not to look so deeply into the background of those who meddle with fortune-telling.

I would greatly enjoy that. You must have quite a collection by this time. *looking forward to research for the first time since Canon Days, and wondering if she would care for a recreational tour of the Library some time... if only to point and laugh*

*laugh* That's actually a good idea, I coulg even probably wrangle a few transfiguration charms to make myself look different, older and all that jazz for pictures... *snicker* That'd show 'em. Stuffy wizards, anyway...

*grin* Yah, between my own collection, and that of the guy who taught me how to survive my job well enough to get by this long. *pleased* He lent me all his books he could, and I copied a few of the better ones that he couldn't.
