Portrait of a Man

Oct 22, 2006 17:28

Soubi told me over tea yesterday that he wished to paint a portrait of me in ink, wearing a kimono of silver and blue. ....a woman's kimono, no doubt... It allowed me to reflect a little of my twenty-nine years.

It's true. My birthday passed and I failed to recognize it. Not because I didn't know it was coming. I didn't want people to feel it necessary to make a big to-do. It's trivial, really. Twenty-nine years and...

...hm... not so long, I don't think. Why do I sound like I've aged so much. ._.

Well, a lot has happened, hasn't it Miss Merryweather? Lord Cain...

It may have been my birthday, but perhaps I could be the one to supply the treat.
