“Ummaaa…I wanna make chocolate”, Yunnie jumped into his mom right after he burst into the house from school.
“Why making all of the sudden sweetie, I can go to the supermarket and buy lots for you”.
“Nooo, those are not big heart-shaped, it’s Valentine’s day tomorrow, I want big heart-shaped chocolate”, the little boy was whining.
“Ahhh, it’s Valentine’s day, no wonder. But baby, I’m sure you’ll have lots of heart-shaped chocolate by this time tomorrow. My son is so handsome, many girls would have a crush on you.
But, to Mrs.Jung’s surprise, her Yunnie blushed by the mention of the word “crush”. His ear turned red and his head hanging low. Then a bulp just popped out in her mind.
“Aww…my baby has a crush on someone too right ?!? You wanna make chocolate and give it to her huh!” Mrs.Jung nudged her son’s side playfully and teased the poor boy.
“It’s…it’s a…a he, umma.”
“Oh your crush is a boy ? Who is he ? Is he one of the buddies you invited home ?”
“No Umma, he’s not my buddy like Chunnie, Su or Minnie, ac-actually, I haven’t talked to him that much. He transferred to our school this year.”
Mrs.Jung rubbed little Yunho’s arm and kept silent, encouraged him to go on.
“He’s very adorable, he has the biggest doe eyes I’ve ever seen and his lips always looks as plump as the cherry. When he smiles, it’s like warming sunshine in the autumn, Chunnie’s smile is nothing compared to his. A-and he is very well-behaved, I-I mean he’s polite and gentle and he’s kind too, he helps me out a lot and whenever I talk to him, his voice is so soft and caring.” Little Yunnie described his very first crush with sparkling eyes and smile lingered on his lips.
“Hmm…I wonder what did he help you ?!? Shouldn’t you be the one helping him since he’s a transferred student ?”
“Well…”, little Yunho fondle his thumbs together as he reminisced the sweet memory.
+++++++Flashback+++++++
Great, it’s raining and I’m even stupid enough to tell my friends to go home first because I thought I brought the umbrella. Now here I am standing in front of my locker, with the umbrella is nowhere in sight and neither is the raincoat. I hate my forgetfulness. How am I supposed to go back home ?!? Mommy and Daddy are still at work.
I was crying inside when a voice startled me
“Hi Yunho, why are you still here ?”
A warm smile was seen when I turned to the source of the voice. Kim Jaejoong, the boy I’m having “weird” feelings toward is now standing besides me, flashing his white teeth to me.
“H-Hi Jaejoong, it’s r-raining, I’m getting to g-go but I don’t…”, I uttered shyly but then he cut me off.
“You don’t have an umbrella, do you ? Then, do you have a raincoat ?”
“No, I think I left them both at home”, I managed to say properly this time.
“Ooh so how are you supposed to go home ? It’s getting cold.”
“I don’t know, maybe I’ll wait til it stops”
It’s my first time talking to him alone like this yet we’re talking about my forgetful self and how I’m stuck at school in the rain. Just awesome.
Suddenly, out of the blue, I heard Jaejoong suggest something that sounded like miracle, and my heart seemed to stop beating for a mere second.
“I-I, well, I’ve been thinking, if you don’t mind, y-we will walk you home together. I m-mean, I’ll walk you home since I have the umbrella, it’s big enough for b-both of us”.
Oh my gosh…Jaejoong, no one but Kim Jaejoong, asked me if I want him to walk me home under the same umbrella, OMG OMG OMG I MUST BE DREAMING…..wake up, wake up Yunho~ah, your imagination is tricking you.
I screamed in my head and slapped my cheeks to see whether I was dreaming for real, oh yeah, it hurt like hell so so so…”
“Yunho~ah, are you ok, why did you slap yourself ?”
Oh my gosh, Yunho~ah, how could you make a fool out of yourself like that in front of him.
“N-nothing, I’m fine, it’s it’s just…ahh it’s just mosquito, right it’s mosquito heheh”, for the first time today, I praised myself for such a good answer.
“Oh ok, so, what do you say ? Wanna go home with me ?”
“I-I’m afraid to burden you, since your house is totally far from mine, it’s in a opposite direction.”
“How did you know where my house is ?!?”
Jaejoong asked me with questioning face, his plump lips pursed upward, oh my, he’s is super cute !!!
“Y-you talked about it in the self-introduction when you first came here”, I lied to him when in fact, I know because I once followed him home without him notice.
“Oh I did ? And you still remember ?”
I just nodded and laughed awkwardly out of embarrassment.
“Alright then, but I don’t really mind walking a long way back home, you’re my classmate and I should help you.”
Classmate ?!? That word sounded unpleasant to me, I don’t know why but…I just dislike it. Anyway, it’s not everyday that you get your secret crush walked you home right ? I think I’m wise enough to cling onto the chance offered.
“Thank you Jaejoong~ah”
With just that, we went out to the cold rain with him walking right beside me, we’re so close that I swear he could have heard my crazy heart, because it was beating shamelessly fast. But the most disappointed thing is that, we didn’t talk much under the umbrella, just some words about family, then silence, some words about homework, then silence again, some words about TV shows, then silence found its way back in. I really hate myself for being this nervouse, I couldn’t say anything else other than answering his question and ask “how about you” back. Jaejoong seemed to be quiet too, maybe because I’m so boring to talk to.
“We’re here”, Jaejoong stopped walking and turned to me.
“Eh ? How do you know this is my house ?!?”
“Ahhh that, I-I overheard you talk about your house being next to the playground with one of our classmates.”, he scratched his head and mumbled while smiling faintly.
“Oh I did ? Hmm…maybe, so I guess, we have to say goodbye here. Thank you Jaejoong~ah, if it’s not for you, I’d still have stuck at school”
How I just wish the way from school to my house would be longer so that I could be with him a little bit more.
“Don’t mention it Yunho~ah, I’m glad I can help”, he beamed at me and I swear, I could see the sun shining brightly despite the rainy and cloudy sky.
“Goodbye Yunho~ah, I’ll se you at school tomorrow”
“Umm…Jaejoong~ah”
I spoke up right before he turned around to leave, I really really have the urge to invite him to go inside my house and offer him a cup of hot chocolate, but then the words seemed to stuck somewhere in my stupid throat.
“Yes, Yunho, anything else ?”
“Ye-No, I-I just wanna say thank you one more time, thank you Jaejoong~ah.”
He just smiled and said “It’s nothing” then turned to go again, somehow I thought I could sense something like disappointment in his voice but I only shrugged it off.

“And after that time, Joongie happens to be always around like when I…”
“And you said you haven't talk to him that much ? It's enought for me to understand the whole thing baby !", Mrs. smirked, "And Joongie ?!? You got him a pet name too ?”
“Well…I-I just thought he would be c-cute with that name” Yunnie stuttered with flushing red face and he was staring at nothing but his hands.
“Hahahah I’m just teasing you sweetheart, let’s go!”, Mrs.Jung pulled her bewildered son out of the sofa and dragged him to the front door.
“Go where umma…I thought we’re gonna make chocolate ?!?”
“Of course we are, Yunnie, that’s why we’re going to the supermarket, heart shape doesn’t pop out of thin air you know.
And the neighborhood surround could see a little boy happily skipped into the car, singing along the way to the supermarket about how he wants his Valentine’s chocolate to look like.
++++++At the supermarket++++++
Little Jaejoong just finished shopping with his mom and was about to check out when he saw someone very familiar ran in through the glass door.
“Isn’t it Yunnie ?!? What is he doing here ?”, oh yes, Joongie also came up with a pet name for his “classmate”
But little Yunho was so immersed in his intention that he didn’t seem to notice Jaejoongie.
The little boy with big-doe eyes tiptoed as he wanna catch a sight of where his Yunnie was heading to.
“Why is he buying so many chocolate bars and is he holding a heart shape there ?!?”, Jaejoongie was confused but then something hit his pure mind.
“Oh noooo, don’t tell me, no no no, is he gonna make Valentine chocolate from those ?!?”
Just to answer his question, little Yunho ran past the cashier where Jaejoongie was standing (little Joongie immediately turned to hide behind his mom) and yell “Umma…umma, you think he likes milk chocolate or dark chocolate ?”
“So it’s a he, Yunho already has someone he likes”, Joongie couldn’t help but sulking and drooped down like a withered flower.
“Baby, Jaejoongie, we’re done, let’s go home and get started”
Mrs.Kim held his hand and lead Jaejoong out of the place but, like anyone should care, Jaejoong was no longer excited with whatever plan he wanted to do before they went here. On the drive home, the poor boy didn’t utter a word and just pouted with almost-teary eyes.
“What is it, sweetheart, why are you sulking, didn’t we buy everything you need, or are you hurt somewhere ?!?”
“Umma, w-what if he turns me down when I give him this gift, what if h-he already has someone he likes ?”
“Aww…so you’re worrying over those things! Listen to me baby. You’ll never know it unless you try. If you keep that feeling inside, it’ll get worse day by day and it’ll hurt you more than you think. If you tell him, you’ll get the result, whether it’s good or bad, you still know the truth. If it’s good then of course, you’re happy. But if it’s bad, think that at least you give it a try and everything is worth it, you got a chance to confess to him. As long as you do things you won’t regret, it’s fine Joongie~ah!
The little boy just kept silent, his mommy’s words are a bit mature for him to understand them all but he did know that confessing to his crush is something Joongie will never regret.
“I think I got it umma, thank you!”
++++++Valentine’s day++++++
Both little Yunho and little Jaejoong ended up getting a lot of chocolate from their fangirls. Their desks were not crowded only in lessons time. Before class started, they were greeted by girls waiting in front of their class. At breaktime and lunchtime, both boys found it was hard to breathe with girls surrounded in the schoolyard and in the cafeteria. Well, they’re only in elementary school to be exact, why such a huge fanclub ?!?
“Ahhh….those girls, I didn’t think we have such scary girls in this school, I was even scratched and what to do with these ahhhh”
Little Yunho finally got rid of his fangirls and was now walking along the hallway to his locker with many paper bags filled with chocolate.
“Now how am I supposed to find Jaejoongie, he was flooded with chocolate and chased around the school too and now he is nowhere to be seen.” Yunnie opened his locker and grabbed the special heart-shaped chocolate which was wrapped nicely in golden wrapper with red ribbon on top.
“Should I go straight to his house and give him this ?!?”, little Yunho said with his head hanging low.
“Yunho~ah”
This boy really happens to be around at the time Yunho needs help or, more like at the time Yunho needs him.
“H-hello Joo-Jaejoong, so you escaped ?!?”
Jaejoongie with both of his hands behind his back, chuckled “I guess, those girls are scary, I was scratched”
“What…you were scratched too ?!? Where ? Does it hurt ? Let me see.”, Yunnie pulled Jaejoong’s hands and something dropped onto the floor.
And that thing turned out to be a small box wrapped in red with a golden ribbon on top.
“Oops sorry, is it another gift ?!?”
“No, it’s not just ANOTHER gift, it’s special, I…”
Joongie inhaled deeply to gain all the confidence he had, he bent down to grab the box, stood straight back to Yunho’s face and hand the box over to the clueless boy.
“This…this is for you”
“Huh ? Did any girl ask you to give me this ?”
“N-no, this is a gift, from-from m-me. Happy Valentine Yunho~ah!”
Jaejoongie shut his eyes as tight as he could after the words, he was waiting for Yunho’s respond but nothing came out of little Yunho’s mouth for a quite a while.
“I know you already have someone else, just receive my gift like other gifts you got from the girls. Don’t think too much about it.”
Feeling that he was unable to stand there any longer, little Jaejoong shoved the box into Yunho’s hand and ran away.
Yunnie, who was lost in his own little world for all these while because of out-burst happiness, now snapped back into reality as soon as little Jaejoong shoved the gift to him and ran away.
“I…ahhhhhh, Jaejoong~ahh, don’t run, I haven’t said anything aish, why am I so stupid”, Yunnie clutched onto Jaejoong’s gift and his chocolate and sped forward, his mind was full of his Joongie.
“Why is he so fast ? That kid…ahhh there he is”, at last he spotted Jaejoongie sitting under a tree in the school backyard.
Little Yunho smiled and sneaked behind Jaejoongie only to cover the latter’s eyes and whisper
“Guess who ?!?”
“Y-Yunho ? Why are you here ?!? Let go of my eyes, will you ?”, Joongie was whining and pouting at the same time.
“Nope…not until you hear me out”
“There’s nothing I need to hear”
“There’s loads, trust me. Now tell me, what did you mean by you already know I have someone else ?”
“B-because I saw you at the supermarket yesterday, buying chocolate and a big heart shape so I knew you would make chocolate and give it to the one you like.”
“And what do you mean by giving me the chocolate, you said it’s special”
“Yes, it’s special b-because I-I made it myself, well, with a little help from my mom but the most was done by me, I wanted to give it to you”, Jaejoongie managed to say under his breath, he was blushing.
And oblivious to little Jaejoong, little Yunnie was beaming with exploded happiness by what he heard. He really just needed one more answer, one more, the most important one.
“And you gave your self-made chocolate to me because…”
“Because I like you, I like you ever since I was transferred here, I like your funny self, I like your forgetfulness, I like your smile, I like your voice, I like everything about you. That time when I walked you home, I lied once, I know where your house is because I followed you home without you notice and when I turned to leave after we arrived at your home, I just hope that you would invite me inside but you didn’t and I was really disappointed and the next time I…”
“Hush…it’s enough Jaejoong~ah, you know what, I’m such a fool all the time back then”
“Huh ? I don’t understand Yunho~ah”
“Prepare for what you’re gonna hear in the moment”, little Yunho let go of Jaejoong’s eyes and turned him around.
“What you said about me having someone and I made chocolate for that person is true Jaejoong~ah, and now you’ll see me giving him that chocolate”
Bewildered, Jaejoongie just blink at the sight of a small golden box with red ribbon was held in front of him.
“This is for you Joongie, happy valentine !!!”
Blink…blink…blink…
Little Yunho chuckled at the cute sight of his Joongie widen blinking eyes and mouth shaped in O.
“I like you Jaejoongie, as much as you like me.”
Blink…blink…blink…
“Don’t you say anything, you’re making me embarrassed you know.”
Then Yunnie was pulled forward and a kiss was shared under the said tree.
Valentine can’t be any sweeter .

I'm sorry this oneshot is super long yet it's not that good *sob* And Jaejoongie is not a spoiled kid here heheh so there's not that much of cute pouts and whining until he gets what he wants from his Yunnie, sorry :( I just wanted to try something else. Hope you like it too :D
And I also have another one/double shot of the grown-up YunJae (TVXQ!YunJae) on Valentine's day running, will try to finish it soon and share it with everyone.
