jennytork prompt 2: Supernatural/SGA.Silence.

Amelia Banks appreciated many things about Ronon Dex. She appreciated his fighting abilities. She appreciated his survival instincts: the man could find the best food anywhere. And let’s be honest, she appreciated how he looked. Very nice body.
But what she really appreciated was his silent restraint when a damn wendigo interrupted their camping trip. It was supposed to be a vacation, but the screams added to the area’s missing campers and Amelia knew that something supernatural was snooping around. Amelia called up Bobby Singer for information. Bobby told Amelia how to dispatch the wendigo and Amelia and Ronon proceeded to set the bastard on fire.
Ronon never questioned an order. He didn’t add commentary like Sheppard would do. He didn’t whine like McKay would. Ronon took orders like it would keep him alive -which it did. He let Amelia take the lead on the Hunt and he followed. From the grin on his face, Amelia feared that he might want to be a full time Hunter.
In the end, when they both smelled of ash and burnt flesh, Ronon sat down next to Amelia. “Earth is weird,” he said.
He left it at that.
Yes, Amelia appreciated Ronon’s silence.
