Don't take too long to think about it. Fifteen fictional characters (television, films, plays, books) who've influenced you and that will always stick with you. List the first fifteen you can recall in no more than fifteen minutes.

1. Wolverine - X-Men
2. Batman - DCU
3. Jarod - The Pretender
4. Miss Parker - The Pretender
5. Hotchner - Criminal Minds
6. Obi-Wan Kenobi - Star Wars
7. Jack O'Neill - Stargate: SG1
8. Oz (Daniel Osbourne) - Buffy the Vampire Slayer
9. Leroy Jethro Gibbs - NCIS
10. Halt - Ranger's Apprentice
11. Shiloh Irons - Cheney Duvall M.D.
12. The Sacketts - Louis L'amour
13. Jack Ryan - Tom Clancy Novels
14. Kate O'Connell - Adventures in North Woods
15. Seyonne - Transformation

Huh.  This list is mostly male, and half sci-fi/fantasy.

1. Anne Shirley - Anne of Green Gables
2. Obi-Wan Kenobi - Star Wars
3. Luke Skywalker - Star Wars
4. Clark Kent - Superman
5. Lucy Pevensie - Chronicles of Narnia
6. River Tam - Firefly
7. Oz (Daniel Osbourne) - Buffy the Vampire Slayer
8. Joan Girardi - Joan of Arcadia
9. Terry McGinnis - Batman Beyond
10. Jo March - Little Women
11. Dean Winchester - Supernatural
12. Harry Dresden - The Dresden Files
13. Emily Starr - Emily of New Moon
14. Hadassah - Mark of the Lion
15. Leroy Jethro Gibbs - NCIS

I made this list by the order they popped into my head, and I'm a little surprised there aren't more books on there.  I can tell you that 9 out of 15 of these were discovered before I graduated high school.  Anne, Emily, and Jo would have been the first discovered, since I received all of those books one year at Christmas, and I stopped short of two people because they aren't technically fictional characters: Anne Frank and Laura Ingalls Wilder.
