and so here we have it:
1.04 million sales for a first day. now all that is left is to wait and see if this will be the deciding single to crack MM's record of 1.5 million for their single. other than the awesome figure, i must add that i am really glad this single cover was the Limited A edition (which is usually used for single cover art), so tomochin & yuko get to be featured together with such good results. XD how biased can i get right.. conveniently not mentioning the ace of the group.
but this single to me is truly worth a buy. the lyrics for Kaze wa Fuiteiru were awesome, the B-side tracks to the different editions were good as well, with above average quality pvs. so i believe the sales were not simply the result of the girls' crazy fans or wotas, but it also appealed to alot of casual fans and possibly new listeners because of the A-side track.
i have decided not to screencap the rest of the chart, it's depressing. no. 2 is 22k which i guess can manage a 40-60k so it is not that bad. no. 3 surprised me. it was not any of the new releases but the Final Fantasy theme song single by BUMP OF CHICKEN released last week. considering that they have been selling for over a week and still managed a daily ranking of 3 with 6k... you can imagine those new releases ranked below that.

and omedetou nino-kuuuun~~~~ best actor award from Tokyo Drama Awards!!! i did not watch that drama of yours, but i know you totally deserved it. XD biased~
and this year (or rather next year), i have to download the full version of Kouhaku, and for once, not skipping 75% of show that contains the talks and enkas because inoue mao-chan will be co mcee-ing with Arashi for the show and AKB48 girls will be the official supporters (whatever that means)!!! basically in summary to me, it will be alot of mao-chan + arashi + AKB48 (specifically tomochin's blank look) screentime~
