A mini-break from journalling, though I have been keeping up with most of you to the best of my ability. I have just been feeling weirdly unmotivated to write much, in general. Life lately has mostly consisted of:
Cooking fine food and drinking lots of wine, day dreaming, being amused by/with my housemates, reading Sleeping Beauty and making notes, thinking about gardening and how to cheaply transform a run-down patch of grass into something habitable for star-gazing, summer feasts and floral/herbal decor, and so hopefully attracting a small ecosystem of birds and butterflies in an otherwise barren area...(a mere pipe-dream, insprired by sunny verge-of-spring days.) Also: Environmental meetings, poetry reading, feeding the ducks and exploring the park at sunset and listening to the Master and Commander soundtrack lots, as well as appreciating the film, for a second time.
Villainny is mostly to blame for this occurrence.
And tomorrow evening I am off to all-night festival (Synergy Project: a collaboration of DJs/artists/musicians/cultural projects/charities/circus acts etc) in London, with Saturday off work for sleeping/recovery purposes. All for a nice £15. Speak to you all soon.
So yes, things are rather busy and good...but dreams of daunting tidal waves and being catapulted by rocks amidst a peaceful but bleak country scene, denote a need to perhaps not get buried in life - or coursework, as the case may be. Progress is being made, slowly...
