(no subject)
In case anyone cares,
I am currently living just outside of San Diego, California in a town called Rancho San Diego (right next to El Cajon, really) and I am very, very happy here.
We have a nice little two bedroom apartment and it is just the right size for us starting out.
I am currently a substitute teacher in the Cajon Valley Unified School District. Some days are wonderful, others are terrible. Luckily, not as many terrible ones. :). It's definitely fun sometimes and I'm getting a lot of good ideas for my future classroom. I hope to start teaching on my own next school year (2009-2010), so hopefully there are some openings and I get hired. Just a couple tests I have to take first (which absolutely sucks, but what can you do? NC was apparently not THAT strict).
I'm going home to visit my parents and puppy dogs this week, so that will definitely be fun. I miss them. Yeah, it's only been a little while --like a couple months-- , but I'm far away and I haven't really been away from home that much.
This is all for now. I'm sure since my life is actually happening right now (I'm not stuck, really), I'll update a little more often.. Or I'll just post things that I think are interesting.

Happy Belated Valentine's Day! (Which, by the way was absolutely amazing this year. Had a wonderful three-day weekend with my sweetness. <3.)
