Well...
I have to say, except for one rather annoying and pathetic scene, I utterly loved this episode. I loved the mixture of companions recent and old. I loved the weird, convoluted plot with all its twists and turns. I loved the two Doctors. I loved Davros and Dalek Caan. I loved The-Doctor-Donna. I loved the idea that the Doctor creates soldiers and murderers. I loved whole set-up. I loved the TARDIS flight scene. I loved Sarah Jane's goodbye (so much more upbeat than her previous two, but perfectly right). I loved the idea that Martha and Mickey are joining Torchwood.
Somewhat insignifically, I loved most of all the fact that Toshiko saved Torchwood from BEYOND THE GRAVE! She is just that cool.
The only bad scene, of course, was the Bad Wolf Beach goodbye. Ick. Sorry, but the original was about 10 times better and infinitely more powerful. Also, it was fairly obvious that David whispered "I love you". Kinda annoying really. However, if this means that it is an utter certainty that Rose is never coming back, I'm very happy, and will allow it.
More thoughts will come later, when I've had a chance to watch the two together.
