(no subject)
holy shit! i just saw the first flock of geese flying south for the winter. although their "V" wasnt in great form, they sure had the idea ... move to where its warmer. but i must say, Autumn is my favorite time of the year. all the leaves change color from a monotone green to vibrant apple red, golden yellow & pumpkin orange. it takes everything i have to drive to class on time and not veer towards Lafayette or to the Adirondacks so i can take a stroll in a park somewhere. the smell of the air is even different. i noticed it saturday nite. John chalked it up to someone starting a fire but i think it was Fall peeking its head around the corner. and even though Summer is the most fun of the seasons, Autumn is absolutely the most artistic of the four. *sigh* but Winter can definitely wait.
so how's classes goin for me? well they suck. i'm behind in homework already because i cant afford the all my books yet. but i see that as a minor problem. my major problem is finding the motivation to do anything. i get out of bed late yet i go to bed early. today is one of the only days off i have this week and i've sat around and did nothing. of course eventually i'll get the motivation to do some reading, but that wont come til about 10p. i think i have to work on that motivational thing. but until then i will be entertaining my new addiction: mah jong
