Designy babystuff
I really like looking at accessories designed for baby/mom. I don't know why. It seems like the highest level of form/function you can strive to perfect, since moms are like THE person in the first world who probably has the littlest amount of time to fiddle with badly designed products. Right? I don't know.
Anyway, I was following some links and saw this cool babywearing jacket (if you're not into the baby stuff at all and don't understand: some parents like to wear their babies most of the time in slings or carriers) and this jacket strikes me as totally brilliant. 1. it is super functional, keeps your and your kid warm, and 2. it looks good without a kid in it, too! I like this kind of design.
I'm thinking of ordering one of her sun coverups, they're really cute and all nomady-lookin. Japan has a lot of sun-related gear, but most of it looks like it's designed for old ladies.
