Another pointless entry
Well I went and bought some cheapy shoes for concerts. I haven't been shopping for trousers in several months cos it was getting depressing, but I discovered today I'm down to a size 14 - w00t! To celebrate I bought some cheapy stone coloured shorts for summer walking and some apple-scented candles...mmmmm....
Thank God, I've finally got my mum to stop whittering away. Honestly that woman could talk for Britain! That's the problem with having to work in the spare room while I'm downloading Gravitation (now 47.6% done) and hooked up to the network.
I suddenly realised why we've been having nice weather all week - cos the outdoor British tennis season's started, duh! Caught some live matches from Queen's yesterday. It's so sad that the only real British hope still (after 10 years) hasn't won a grand slam yet and surely he's going to retire in the next couple of years? I didn't get a ticket for Queen's this year but I'm going to Wimbledon in a couple of weeks - w00t!
Fanfic update - I'm making steady progress with the plan for my Zelos fic. It really is taking on a life of its own! I also came up with another idea last night; the romance of Zelos's father and Seles's mother (both of whom I have yet to name). It's not a typical romance, though. I love mythology. So many of the names (characters, places) in ToS are based on Greek or Norse mythology and when I read around the subject I get loads of inspiration for my stories! If only I had the time to sit down and actually write them....
