I was bemused at work last night by two couples, celebrating their 50th and 60th wedding anniversaries, boogying the night away on the dance floor!  I was also fluffed up by the cute bunnies out and about after midnight on my way home. I do worry about them playing by the side of the road, though.

I noticed this morning that I wasn't paid by the agency on Friday.  And, obviously, I'm wondering why.  I'll check my fax logs tomorrow, but I'm sure they'll show I sent my timesheet to the right numbers...so why no pay? I do hope the agency and Graco haven't begun negotiations for my employment behind my back, cos no one's even discussed terms of employment and salary levels with me, yet.  I am irked.

Mike invited me along to a concert he was helping out in today. Turns out 3 school choirs and a brass band were also involved.  If I'd known beforehand, I probably wouldn't have gone.  Yes, I'm a musical snob.  But it really wasn't very good. I was kinda bored. The programme was awful. So much cheeeeeese.

Cos I felt like it, I installed Mozilla's email client, Thunderbird. After much configuration I have it doing everything that Outlook does for me.  Without all the applications I don't use at home (journal, calendar, etc.) it's far less fat, and seems to use a lot less memory doing what it does. Less of a song and dance than Outlook, which is usually all, "Look at me! I'm downloading your messages! Yes I am! You know that, cos all your other programs have stopped working! Woo hoo!  Go me!"

The Green Mile is on telly. But I'm going to transfer the last episode of 24 to my HDD recorder and watch that. I recently finished watching the ends of the latest seasons of Smallville (oo-er), Desperate Housewives (awww and ohmygod!), Lost (wuh...?) and ER (woah). Before I go to bed I might watch the Tales of Symphonia Anime.  *excited*

technobabble, anime, 'tales of...' series, bitchy me, computer, tales of symphonia, work, singing, money, rants
