Just 6 days till I leave for Hong Kong!

I saw Munich last night. I wasn't really planning to, but it was the only film my friend and I could decide upon. I quite enjoyed it, actually. Now, I'm not up to speed with the Israeli-Palestinian situation as it is now, or as it was after the 1972 Olympics, but I found the film relatively easy to follow. The only thing that confused me was whether the main character actually was being betrayed by his French source of information. I found myself wondering whether I should be sympathising with the men sent to kill the Palestinian terrorist leaders...was it right for the Mossad to retaliate in that manner? That's the question the main character asks himself towards the end, considering he's never seen any evidence of their involvement in the planning of "Munich". I now feel compelled to read the boook that the film was based upon. Good cinematography - it had a lovely grainy 1970s feel - and an appropriately unobtrusive soundtrack, that I was suprised to realise was composed by John Williams - I wasn't aware he could be that subtle!

I've got a new toy! No, not that kind of toy.... It's a 20Gb MP3 player, amazingly cheap and so cute and small! I've been ripping my CD collection for days, it seems, but I seriously doubt I'll fill it.

I'm applying for a couple of local part-time admin jobs before I go away next week. It would be nice to have a larger income, and get some relevant work experience, but still have time to work on the T-word....

So excited! Just 6 days to go...!

Edit: I've just won an eBay auction for Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance! Tee hee...!
