1000 miles in four days

Hi hi!

I'm back from my adventure up the coast! David and I had the best time; seriously one of my all time favorite vacations. Join me in a photographic recap, won't you?

First stop: Goleta in Santa Barbara. It was overcast and a little windy, but we enjoyed peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with a magnificent view.

The Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara. Beautiful, old, historic theater in downtown SB that still shows movies. Quite the lobby, eh?

Solvang, CA aka crazy Denmark town. Apparently, it was settled by the Danes in 1901 and they are very very very proud of their roots. It's a cute town that caters to the tourists with tons of Danish shops, restaurants and museums...

Case in point! We both totally geeked out over this place (okay so maybe it was just me).

So we spent our first night in Los Osos at my uncle's fabulous house that overlooks Morro Bay. And we woke up to this the next morning...

"There's a deer just outside eating fruit from the orchard!" So cute.

Next stop: Pebble Beach in Carmel. We did the famous 17 mile drive, which took us about two hours because we stopped to take in all the gorgeous scenery, including a wedding on one of the beaches that we watched like the creepers we are (look at how foxy my boyfriend is!).

Anyone want to Photoshop Ariel onto that rock?

While we were in Carmel, we met up with my two cousins who live there, one of whom is getting married next summer. And she asked me to be a bridesmaid! So excited :D

"The Lone Cypress" that's apparently been there for 250 years. Impressive, eh?

Is Monterey Bay beautiful or what? I think the mantra of our trip was "Wanna live here?"

The view from the 1 overlooking Big Sur. The fog was way creepy but cool.

Ta da! My first "big girl" vacation, with the best road trip partner ever.

It's nice to be home, nice to be starting work on Wednesday, nice to have a routine. How are you guys doing? :)

yayz, vacation, twitterpated
