When I started to come to my head was throbbin' something wicked. Like I needed a whole gallon of water along with a huge bottle of extra strength aspirin. What the fuck happened? Felt like I got my ass jumped by every Bertha on cellblock D and then tazored down and sent to the hole. That was what it felt like, but the little slivers of light

"Someone gave a shit. Had one friend who came to visit me every week like clockwork, never gave up on me." Pushing my feet against his desk roughly, the chair went rolling back towards the windows as papers sailed to the floor. Gettin' up real quick as he did the same I walked up to him and stared up at him fearlessly. "Angel. Came to visit me every single week til he just stopped and here I was thinkin' it was cause he stopped givin' a shit but really, it was cause you took over."
Reaching out to the desk lightning quick I grabbed a letter opener and clutched in my hand before turnin' my eyes up to meet his again.
"How deep do you think I gotta cut to find him again? Ain't that how it works? He's in there somewhere? Just dyin' to be let loose like you used to be. Trapped in the cage you belong in." I clutched the letter opener more tightly, the two of us locked in a standstill as I debated what the hell I was gonna do. I was pretty sure cuttin' Angelus open wasn't gonna bring Angel out, but I didn't have a better idea.

What was she going to do? Honestly? There was nothing she could do because I had the upper hand. I always have the upper hand.
"You can cut all you want, but I have to warn you ... you cut me, I cut you and I promise my cuts? Will leave a mark that you'll never be able to get rid of." I stared her down and I waited. Waited for the moment her eyes would be off of mine. What do you know? She had to blink sometime. Lunging forward, I grabbed the letter opener and then her arm, twisting it behind her and holding the shiny piece of sharp metal up to her neck.
"Now, as I was saying, Faithy ... You stay here with us. Me and Darla. You'll get whatever you want, I promise you that. All you have to do is throw them off. You know you want to. You know that you don't care about them because they never gave a fuck about you."

"Throw them off?" I asked him in a voice barely above a whisper cause I was still tryin' not to move that much. What did he mean by that? Throw them off? It wasn't like I really gave a toss about any of them. Wesley. I'd already done my fair share of damage there. Queen C. Could really give a shit less about the prom queen who hated my guts. Always lookin' down her nose at me. I didn't even know the rest of 'em but Angel used to talk about them all the time. Fred. Gunn. Lorne. Didn't know 'em from Jack.
Biting my bottom lip I decided it was now or never and I quickly grabbed onto his arm and pulled the letter opener away from my neck before wrapping my foot around his ankle and jerking forwards. He landed hard on the floor and for a second I thought he'd landed on the letter opener but it'd bounced to the floor beside him. I pounced on him in a second, not even bothering with the letter opener this time, just pinning him to the floor.
I glared down at him for a second, two seconds, the seconds ticked by as I gave him a long hard look. Finally my mouth twitched up at the corner in a devious smirk.
"Do I get a car?"

"A car? Well ... now, that would be a perk, wouldn't it? You'd have to earn it."
Quickly, I sat up still holding onto her as she sat there on my lap. Looking up at her for a moment, I thought about what she could do for me first so I would know that she meant what said. Because, just by her asking a car, she just agreed. Smacking her thigh, I pushed her off of me and stood up, running my hands down my shirt, flattening out the wrinkles.
"I have a job for you to do. A little hmm, messenger type job that I'm sure will just tickle you right up." Walking to my desk over papers and files, I opened up a drawer and pulled out a green labled file. The file on the AI freaks across town. Oh, they were going to get a kick out of all of this now weren't they? Go's to show ... they should have visited the bitch behind bars, maybe none of this would have happened.
Going through the file, I found a picture of little tasty Winifred Burkle. A shudder swarmed down my spine at the thought of her. Grinning, I put that picture down and found one of little Miss Cordelia Chase. Now that was a catch, what a rack. Raising an eyebrow, after I'm sure I've found a winner, I closed the file and looked up at Faith.
"Go pay a visit to Cordelia. Tell her how you're doing." Oh, this was going to be all kinds of fun to watch. "Do what you want with her, kill her if you want to," I shrugged. "Then when you get back? You get the choice of whatever car you want, Faithy."

I raised an eyebrow when he told me what my job was. I thought for sure he was gonna tell me to go kill Buffy or something. Not that I would have. If he wanted me to kill B I woulda said sure no problem and bailed right on outta here. Goin' where? No clue. Had to say I was surprised that my first job was gonna be that easy. There had to be a catch. Had to be.
"You serious?" I asked him, taking a few steps closer and lookin' down at the file on his desk. There she was. Annoying and perky, just like I remembered her. Well, it would be annoying in itself just to talk to Queen C but that was really what he wanted me to do? Just talk to her?
"I just gotta go talk to her? Like hey how ya doin', okay see ya later and then you're gonna give me a car?" I blinked. This was gonna be my job? Doin' the bitch work? Hey, if all I had to do was go and talk to a few people now and then this job was gonna be serious cake.

Walking around the desk and right up to her, I grabbed her arm and pulled her closer, my fingertips lightly pushing a few strand hairs out of her face. "Give her a scare. I know it's in you Faithy, I know you can do it. I'll be watching you."
Pushing her away, I walked over to the elevator and inserted the key so the doors would open again and then walked over to the door, unlocking it. I had something else to tend to and the faster she left, the faster she got that shiny new car of hers.
Turning back to look at her, I grinned before grabbing my jacket.
"Go on, go play," I said and put the jacket on before walking to my desk and grabbing my keys. "But, again, I'll be watching you to make you don't fuck up. You don't know where I'll be and if you do fuck up, the little prom princesses limbs will be spread all around this city and you'll be going back to prison for it."
