...wishing the week away
After finally getting an agreed settlement figure through from the insurance company (and it being a lot more than I realised my car was worth) I'm finally able to get a new car. I arrived home on Wednesday night from an early shift at the hospital to find my dad on the phone to a car dealership in Goole. Once finished he filled me in on the details, and told how he had put a deposit down on a 6 month old Ford Fiesta. I am completely ecstatic because I have always wanted a Fiesta after learning to drive in one, but when I bought my C1 couldn't afford it. It seems strange now that I can only do so after writing off my other. I can't pick up the car until the 19th due to the fact it cannot be taxed until a cover letter has been sent from my insurers, and I really can't wait! I'm sure it will come quickly too, that being the dead line for me having finsished my CAP document, and they always creap up without warning!
