We lived our lives in our paradise
I love that how my last post was all about how I wished The Mortal Instruments would be turned into a film. And now, we finally have the confirmation of it being a very, very strong possibility. I know it's only been optioned, but I can't see it not happening. I mean I haven't been this excited after reading a book since Harry Potter, and believe me, I've read a lot of books since Harry Potter. nakedhearts and I had a massive fangirling text session about it, fabulous. So far my list of ideal actors to play each character spans to three. Alex Pettyfer and Jace (But only because Toby Hemingway is too old) Emily Browning as Clary and Ewan McGregor as Luke. Feel free to disagree, those are just my random thoughts.
Sorry I've been MIA for the past few weeks. I've been on placement at Grimsby Hospital, doing 12 1/2 hour shifts but actually had a great time. I'll be going into my 3rd year after summer (which I've only just started) and my mentor told me she thinks I'll make an excellent 3rd year nurse. I really chuffed because I know shes the type of person who wouldn't say it unless she absolutely meant it. I'd love to get a job on there eventually. I know I'd learn so, so much if I did!!
Something else I've been doing since I've been away...and yes it really did hurt.
I am planning one more, my dad said I should wait until I qualify with it being on my hand, but I'm not sure. I really, really want it!!
My sister and I finally booked our holiday the other day. We just braved it and went for it! We'd been looking for ages, and every bad review we read put us off. We finally realised that it we was wanting some place with perfect reviews we'd either have to spend at least £1000, or we'd never go. We're both really happy that with what we booked, it's about half way between Icemeler and Marmaris if anyones familiar with Turkey, and the best part is we go 3 weeks today!! Straight after my exam. What a perfect way to unwind!!
I better wind this up now as I've got to have a blood test done today, do some ironing and eventually turn up at nakedhearts hopefully around 2. We've both got some studying to do for exams that we'll try to do tonight, and then we'll be getting a chinese!! Yum, yum. Tomorrow our plan is going to cinema to watch Time Travellers Wife, which I'm really looking forward to, and going out for a meal!
