I've just finished another placement yesterday, which makes 5 down and only 4 to go. What a terrifying thought that I'm almost half way through, yet it's so exciting. I really can't wait now to qualify. Being on this last placement has really made me believe that when I have finished I will be a competent enough Nurse to work on my own. I've enjoyed it considerably and I'm really going to miss the place and the staff. I didn't expect to enjoy surgery, so it really was a welcome surprise. I've got to go back into the hospital on Thursday though, because I want to apply to the bank there as a health care worker, and also I need my mentor to sign my CAP document (Continuous Assessment Portfolio) My mentor told my sister when he went into the bank that she works at that he thoroughly enjoyed me being his student, so I'm guessing that's a good thing!
Yesterday my sister and I had to travel to Grantham to play a game of netball. Grantham is about an hour and 20 mins from our house, so it's a pretty long way for a game of netball that lasts around an hour. It was a beautiful day however and the drive with my sister was rather enjoyable. She's just got a brand new car so there was never any question who was going to drive, so I just gave her petrol money. We lost the game 47-23, but they where an exceptionally good team. The game was fast paced and exhausting but it made me feel really good when it was over. My legs are aching a fair bit this morning however, and my ankle is a little sore from where I fell.
I have just seemed to have rediscovered my love for Hermione x Draco fanfics, and have just read a exceptional one and am currently reading one that is a little better. I know that Dramione would and could never happen but I seem to have a love for the Romeo and Juliet feel to many of the stories. I have always intended to write one but for some reason it has never materialised, perhaps now I have 3 weeks off though.
