Notes: I shower curses upon my internet and apologize for the length. I was trying for a drabble, and ended up... way too wordy. Curses.
It was no secret that Yukito ate a lot - and it was no longer a secret to Touya as to why. Well, the details were still a bit on the fuzzy side, and at one time, he could have lived with that.
He’d taken to shopping with his best friend, because goodness knew how Yukito managed to carry enough food to support himself through a week. And it was quite a bit of time for them to spend together. Yukito apparently liked cereal for breakfast. A lot of cereal. There was a shelf in the kitchen, next to the refrigerator, that fit exactly ten standard size boxes of cereal. They made sure to keep it constantly stocked, so that Yukito would “always have a good start to his day.” It’d become a game with them when they went shopping together.
But this time, Touya was shopping alone. He wasn’t getting paid for another couple of days, so he didn’t have much money, but it was enough.
When he got to Yukito’s house and let himself in, everything was quiet. Yukito was still sleeping. Touya went to the kitchen, unwrapping his purchases from the bag. But they weren’t necessary. The shelf of cereal was full, just as it had been yesterday. Ten boxes of cereal, lined up and unopened."
