This rocked my socks. Wicked cool AU. ^_^ I loved how you used the power of the rain as if it were liquor, it's such and interesting spin and it worked so well! I totally agree more well written AUs are needed.

Thank you! I've never really tried an AU before, so this was interesting and fun (I kept having these weird images of AU-land with Sanzo in his robes).

I'm not a big fan of AU but this is very nice.

It started rather slow in the beginning, but picked up the pace after the middle of the fic. There are some scenes that I think Sanzo could be less harsh though. The ending, however, is brilliant!

I never actually thought about doing a real AU before this, so it was kind of a cool experiment.

I wanted to try changing the pace a little, make it more like some of the other fics I've written. I was, I guess, trying to capture some kind of mood. I'm glad it wasn't too slow, so slow that you stopped reading. I also had issues with Sanzo (GAH STUPID MONK!)--I've never been very good with drawing the line on him.

I have only read a handful of well done AU fics, and this is most definately one of them. I've always loved your work. Keep it up! ^-^
