GROSS!!
This morning I went to yoga class: wonderful!
Then I went to "Fitness Conditioning." I did not think that meant "boot-camp for people who are already really fit." I worked really hard and tried to be aware of my limits and stop when I needed to. I sat out for half of the class (they were doing these squat jump things and lunges and running back and forth through the gym w/medicine balls). Drank some water. And all the blood left my head. I could feel it roll down my body. I felt so woozy. I went out to the hallway and lay down. I was comforted by the fact that my heart didn't hurt and, while my arms felt tingly, it was BOTH arms equally (not just the left). My pinky and ring fingers curled in towards my palms, I had a hard time breathing. My teacher came out and took my pulse, felt my forehead, made me sit up. Another coach (a MONSTEROUSLY large man -- well, at least his torso was huge, but he was very short) came and played the weightlifter coach that I grew to love during highschool. My legs started wiggling, I felt really uncomfortable. The nurses came and took my stats: blood O2 level 100% (great!), my BP: 120/82 (also great!), pulse: 105 (right where it should be after strenuous activity for a fat person). But I still didn't feel good, so they were going to take me to the student health center in a wheelchair. I started to get up .. . . and spewed water and oatmeal everywhere!!
I made the mistake of trying to hold it in with my hand, so it richoceed all over the place. I got soaked in watery bile. I cried. In the hall. Where anybody could see me. But I felt so much better! I went home, took a shower and went to work!
