I'm trying this new thing of swearing off the internet during the weekends. Now i feel like i missed a lot. what does technology do to us? there's this weird dependence.
Anyway. I had a really good weekend. Yesterday we spent all day working on building the apartment. I felt really good about it. productive. we painted the bathtub bright orange on the outside and white on the inside. it's to go with the purple bathroom. it's pretty crazy.
Apparently Alina and i are a magnetic duo for attracting guys. we must have been hit on by 50 different guys yesterday and we weren't even away from the house much. Picture this: both of us covered in mud, dirt, and orange and white paint, a mess with lots of layers of clothes on. Now, every hardware store we went to, we were chased around by guys, young and old. At home depot we started running away from the orange aprons. It was hilarious in a really annoying way. we'd be walking and 5 guys would jump to talk to us at once. Champ just laughed at us. He kept leaving us alone to get the supplies, i think because he figured it'd be faster with our 50 volunteer helpers than with him trying to do it.
And the baby is waking up from her nap. done for now.
