I had a bad day. Or really, a bad hour that is reflecting negatively on an overall decent day.
It started with me staying up till 5:30 this morning doing math homework. Honestly, that's not as bad as it sounds, since I was working on a proof and I love those. Anyway, I have a 9 am class, so I got 3 hours of sleep. I'm trying to eat better, so I didn't want anything as carb filled as a bagel or muffin for breakfast. I decided that I needed a large coffee to keep me awake. See, I forgot that coffee effects you more when you haven't eaten, woops. Well, it hit me half way through Psych. My face got hot and I just felt wired and restless and shaky. I don't usually have that much coffee.
Anyway, it worked out fine, since with all my energy I finished my math hw quickly and that was nice. I had a meeting with my major advisor, which actually went really well. Yay. Then I got to ballet early, which always makes me feel really awkward, but that's ok because I got a lot of time to warm up. My ballet class was great today. I don't know if it was the caffeine, or the getting an extra warm up, or the weather, or what but I had a great class.
I was on the waitlist for tickets to see wicked tonight. After ballet, I had a 1/2 hour till I had to be there to see if anyone forgot and I could get their ticket. After waiting in line for like 15 min just to order dinner at a campus store, I ordered a panini, which they completely forgot about. Seriously, it was burnt by the time I reminded them that I was still standing there waiting for it. grrr, I was in a rush. Anyway, I was the 4th on the waitlist, and there were 5 extra tickets. They told me I would get one of the tickets. Awesome, so excited. However, there was some controversy over who should get the 5th ticket, and while they were sorting that out, 3 people with confirmed tickets showed up. Meaning I lost my ticket. So mean! I had one! And if we had just left when they said we were going to, I would have gone to the show. grrr.
Sigh.
UPDATE
I just walked 1/2 a mile each way in the rain to get free ice cream, and they closed the line as soon as I got there...
