Good day
Had a pretty good day. An argument started out my day (and I wasn't a part of it), but it continued. Went to the State Fair, wandered around with my hubby. We are poor, but had enough money to find cheap food and what freebies there were. Met our roommate and watched the Suburbs and B-52's. It rocked. I've never seen either band live. Suburbs are one of my husbands favorite bands, and I enjoy them both. Got to hear most of the songs I really love by the B-52's. Forgot how much I like Bushfire. Good song. *grins* So I was grooving away listing to all these wonderful songs. My roommate looked at me like I was insane. Oh well. I was having a good time. *bouncebounce* I'm all bouncy now...it was so cool. The last real concert I went to was REM at the Target Center just after their one member died. So, it's been forever since I've seen a non local show.
Needless to say, I've been on my feet all day and have to be to work at 8am. Ugg...not looking forward to that part. But money's money. Too bad I'm not doing massage. I'd have a full booking. *grumbles* Lost two days...shouldn't complain terribly though. Either way I'm making something, and they were able to accomidate me. I love my new job. ;-)
Anyway...that's all for now.
