tangled up in blue
So, you all remember the shawl of doom that I've been working on off and on since November?
If I rip back six rows and reknit them*, then finish the chart I'm mostly done with, I'll be ready to start the edging. Now, I know better than to start the edging during my work week**, but if I get my shit together I should be able to finish it by like, next Tuesday or so.
So I need you guys to help me out. Over the coming week, call me, email me, text me, and tell me to get my stupid ass moving on the stupid shawl of stupidness.
Because the sooner I do, the sooner I can start playing with the pretty new moss green and ice blue lace weight that came in a while back.***
*hopefully, while paying attention this time
**Seriously, I've called in sick to finish really fiddly lace before. Not my most glorious moment, and I hope not to repeat it because, you know, no paid sick days.
***F'reals, guys, between my books and my yarn, I'm starting to worry about my compulsive hoarding instinct. ::eyes the boxes of yarn precariously piled in the closet:: It's goign to come to life and eat me one night if I don't get some of it knit up soon!
