Oh, this lovely, lovely weather! It's so crisp and beautiful outside! Absolutely perfect for that alpaca sweater I've been putting off making since June since it'd never get cold enough for it...

But enough of that, it's fall! And fall means only one thing... the Narnis movie is that much closer to opening! I've been rereading the books, getting myself psyched up for the movie. There's nothing in the world better than spending a lazy Sunday afternoon on a breezy balcony with a good book ^^

I watched most of Coffee and Cigarettes yesterday, too. Fairly good movie, though not exactly what I had been led to believe. Tom Waits being a punk to Iggy Pop was still pure genius. I had heard that it was a series of interview-vignettes, but instead it was a series of scenes taking place over various coffee-shop meetings. Cousins had to be the most touching, provocative short out of all of the ones I saw -- but then, I skipped around a bit, and turned it off partway through to take dinner to adamanteus who was stuck at work, poor thing. morpha_too, you'd probably be into it, though -- at least, you'd probably be more likely to recognize all the famous people (I recognized two, Waits and Iggy -- it was sad) and I think that's half the fun of any movie like this. We should totally watch at least bits and pieces together sometime if you've never seen it, I'd love to hear your take on it :)

So, have I mentioned that the Narnia movie is coming out in like, two months? I'm more excited about this than I have been about any movie in a long time. oooh, and speaking of movies, I finally buckled and got myself a Netflix account. I feel so snazzy and sparkly -- so I'm taking recommendations, I guess: sell me on a movie or TV series that Netflix has, and I'll toss it in the queue if I haven't already seen it (Britin, this is totally your chance to get me to watch a ton of anime -- I already have some on the list, but not much -- oh, and I got my computer hooked up, so I'll be emailing you soon with a list of what I *do* already have that I could burn to CD and mail to you!).

Autumn, autumn, fall, autumn, brr! I feel refreshed :)

texas has seasons, narnia
