I don't exactly have a whole lot of time to go through stuff 'cause I'm at the Chambersburg Library and I only have about 30 minutes, I think. The library here is sort of strange. Anyways.
MacMac (Greg's grandfather) is very sick, but he hasn't given up yet. His wife Sally (who is barely competent and can't do much on her own anymore) has decided that he needs the highest level of care, rather than being kind and letting him die. I know that sounds awful, but the man is in pain. He extibated himself yesterday, but she still won't sign a DNR. I'm not one to tell anyone what to do, but when a man pulls out his breathing tube (especially after they had already tied down his hands before), I think it's probably his time. But he's still going, so I guess that's good as well as bad.
The Jeep is officially (sort of) broken down (a little). The problem we were having with it choking and not giving it gas when we hit the pedal multiplied. We were on the way to the hospital yesterday when it started cutting out every 10 or 20 minutes. We wound up leaving it at a shop that Greg had spoken with someone at, and basically we need a new catalytic converter, which in Jeep language means we have to replace the entire exhaust system. Cost of repairs for the Jeep this month is nearing $2,000. We're stuck here, we have no way to get around unless someone takes us places, and we both have to miss work Monday. I think we're going to leave Monday because the labor should be pretty short. In any case, it sucks. I'm just glad Greg is holding up ok. I want to go to Hershey Park tomorrow, 'cause I know that'd make him happy, but we could only go if someone else wanted to. Ah well, I'd better get moving on to the other stuff I have to do before computer time is over. If anyone needs or wants to, they can call and leave a message on my voicemail - I'll be checking it every now and then with his Uncle's phone.
